Old to New again Marlin 22 Semi Auto

I'm going to start working on an older Marlin semi auto 22 rifle. I will post a whole series of photos from start to finish of this project just to show how an old gun can be made new again. The barrel will be shortened, recrowned with a target crown, and a new stock. All internal parts will be cleaned, polished, checked for wear, and replaced if needed. Once all of that has been completed the rifle will be refinished in Cerakote. I'm still decideing on the color. Might finish the stock in Cerakote as well. One thing that I can't make up my mind on is weither or not to put a scope or red dot on it... Any thoughts?
